Hi

Happy New Year - here's hoping 2019 is Happy, healthy and peaceful!

Welcome to my new blog - this is my first post and my plan is to post regularly to keep everyone up to date with life on Planet Ruth.

I had a lovely Christmas with all the family and then Sam and I went off to London town to celebrate New Year. Rabitt went for sleep overs in Gee Cross with her Bestie Daisy, which meant we could relax and enjoy some 'us' time. I will attempt to post some photos of the festivities - but I may need the help of my 'Bestie' Jak - who kindly set up the blog for me.

I've returned from London with some new ideas for my glass work and I was also very inspired by lots of art work we saw on a trip to Camden Locks, so I plan to have a busy month trying out some of those techniques. If you are in London, do try to visit Camden - head up to the locks and you will find craft of every kind mentionable , plus street food from all over the world. We spent all day there and made quite a few purchases! The stall holders are really friendly and knowledgable and there are some really unique crafts to be seen - unfortunately you can't take photos, or I would have shared them with you. Word of warning though - the handmade chocolates - oooh - nice but pricey - £7 for 4....yes 4 chocolates!!!!

Right I'm going to try the photo bit so bear with!!

I'd love you to follow my journey through 2019 - I hope to make this a special year in lots of ways and would be delighted if you came along for the journey!

Thanks for reading - love Ruth xxx
